Reflexology on Anglesey
Reflexology is a holistic therapy based on the theory that all the systems and organs of our bodies have corresponding reflex points on our feet and hands. Holistic therapies take into account that our bodies work as a whole and, if one area is out of sync, it may have consequences elsewhere.
Either the feet or hands are worked by the reflexologist with a combination of techniques so that all the reflexes are stimulated. This may assist the body to balance its systems, flush out toxins and promote well-being.
For foot reflexology, clients remove socks and shoes and sit in a reclining chair. For hand reflexology, clients need to remove rings and bracelets. The client sits on a sofa with their hands resting on pillows.
The initial treatment includes a free consultation and therefore can last up to an hour and a half. Follow up treatments last approximately an hour for Foot Reflexology, and 40 minutes for Hand Reflexology.
The prices are £40 for Foot Reflexology and £35 for Hand Reflexology.
For clients wishing to book a series of treatments, there is a discount available: five sessions for the price of four if the appointments are within three months.
Clients are welcome to stay in the treatment room to relax following their therapy or to sit in the orchard if the weather is fine. There are lots of blankets if it's a bit chilly!
After a treatment, if possible, you should try to relax and drink plenty of water to assist your body with the therapeutic process.
